A unique square halo is set with an unheated Ceylon Sapphire that weighs .63 cts. The vibrant gemstone is set low and square with triple bead prongs and surrounded by a square halo of 16 round diamonds. Two additional diamonds are set on the shoulders in beautiful shield shaped frames which taper to the elegant knife edged  band. The halo and side stones add an additional 1/4 carat weight. The head of the ring features a lovely pierced gallery that allows light to give those diamonds even more sparkle. Platinum and a size 5 3/4, this is a vintage original from the 1930s.
